#BeautifyHerAura Everyday Makeup Essentials

As a make up addict I thought that a post on my go to everyday make up would help loads of women out there catch the jist of some products that will beautify her aura and maybe boost her confidence up a level. I don't wear make up everyday but when I do beat my face I always try to get a flawless and natural looking look. I don't always use all of these products but these are some of my favourites that help me achieve a effortless and lightweight make up look.

Face Products

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer | Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation | LA Girl Pro concealer | Forever 21 concealer (Highlighter)
I generally always start by using the Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer to give my skin a smooth base to start with so that the foundation can settle smoothly. Before priming I suggest that a moisturizer and sunblock be used just to give your face moisture and add that extra protection to your face. This is very important because it will make your make up last longer together with the primer that you are using before applying the foundation.

Thereafter, I apply my Estee Lauder foundation. What I love about this foundation is that it is very lightweight and does not rub off when you pass your hand or even clothes against it. It is the best foundation that I can recommend for those women out there who have significant others who hate when you get your make up on them from just a simple embrace (we all have those problems).

I then use my LA Girl concealer to conceal any blemishes I may have. This concealer does match my skin so I would not use it to highlight or cover up dark circles. If you are fortunate enough to have flawless skin then just a highlighting concealer will suffice. What's great about using a concealer is that it can allow you to just eliminate your few blemishes and  conceal dark circles thus eliminating the foundation step if one wished.

The Forever 21 concealer is used to highlight my brow bone, nose bridge and under eye circles. This step can also be skipped but I love the brightness that I achieve from using a highlight concealer. Due to this being a highlight it is necessary for this concealer to be one or two shades lighter than your skin tone.

Eye Products

Loreal Telescopic mascara | NYX Jumbo Pencil in black Bean | Anastasia Eyebrow Pomade in Ebony

After applying my face make up I go onto apply my eye products. I like achieving that defines eyebrow look so I would not trust anyone but the eyebrow queen's products being Anastasia Beverly Hills eyebrow pomade. I love this product because it is water proof and is able to withstand any weather conditions without smudging. Following that I tight line my water line with my NYX Jumbo Black Bean pencil and apply my Loreal Telescopic mascara. I absolutely love this mascara. It elongates and dramatizes your lashes like no other mascara. I would absolutely recommend this product.

Final Touches

Covergirl Bronzer | Milani Blush | Laura Mercier Bronzing and Highlight Pallette
The final touches to my face involves adding some blush on the apple of your cheeks and contouring a bit with a bronzer. I usually apply the bronzer below my cheek bones and the temples of my forehead. I then highlight my cheek bones with the highlighter from the Laura Mercier palette. A trick that one can use to make there blush to pop more (especially for darker complexions)  is to apply a crew blush on the apples of you cheeks and then add the desired blush color.

Lips Products

Vaseline Lip Therapy | NYX Lip Pencil in Natural | Mac Matte Lipstick Twig

I finish off make up look with some lip balm and a natural looking or nude color lipstick. Just having lipstick on can do so much for your make up look it's crazy.

I know that it may seem like these products will take forever to apply but once you get into a routine of applying these products, it takes fifteen minutes tops.
What's great about most of these products I've mentioned is that they are inexpensive and can allow one to achieve a flawless makeup look with out hurting your wallets.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have any questions or want any reviews on any of these products please comment. Have a lovely day!

TWENTY

My teen years presented me with the most amazing years a girl could ever ask for. From being a teen queen, to graduating high school among the top of my class, my teen years taught me a lot. Those years are now over and although I made many stupid teenage mistakes I did learn some valuable life lessons believe it or not...

Time spent. Once time is spent you cannot get it back. From a young age I chose to spend my time wisely. To invest it. To put it into things I found value in and into things out of which I would reap rewards. I spent my time generously on my modeling, on bettering myself as a dancer and on school. I invested in my family, in my friends. I spent my time growing my relationship with God. Ultimately it would be my faith that would assist me in reaping all the rewards from the things I had invested in. And indeed it was. If you love something you'll invest in it, so spend your time on the things that you love.

Today. Today I look back on my life. I look at how far I've come and how far God has brought me. I look back on my failures & my mistakes, and I see how they paved the way to my successes. I look back at the times I got hurt, when I was down, and I see that I am still standing today and I wonder why I spent all that time worrying unnecessarily. What a waste. I look back and I'm amazed by how many lessons are now engraved in my being from situations that I thought would actually scar me. Out of every bad situation comes a good lesson learned.

Relationships. They come and go. I learned that fairly soon in my life.  People are put into your life for a reason. It may be for just a season but it's for a purpose. I learned to cherish people and to make the most out of the time I had with individuals. When a relationship(friendship) ends, whether good or bad, the time I spent with the person I never regret. Love unconditionally and give your all into every friendship/relationship.

Happiness. I learned that happiness is a choice and I have to find joy in myself before looking for it in other people. Love the feeling of being happy and exude happiness into the lives of others.

Twenty. Here's to my future. I am grateful for the victories and failures, the joy and pain, the ups and downs. If I think my teen years were my best years, I have yet to see what amazing things God has in store for me. Here's to being undoubtedly ready to take on Twenty and all that comes with it.
